| Personal Background: Cameron was born in a working class family in a predominantly Irish neighborhood in Chicago, IL. His father, Quinn Drake, worked as head mechanic in an automotive repair shop and his mother, Sarie, was a waitress at an all night diner. The Drakes were a devout Roman Catholic family and though their parents arrived in the United States before each of their births, they hold fast to their Irish ancestry. Cameron was raised to be proud of his Irish roots and his pure and untainted Irish blood. Quinn and Sarie raised their children to the best of their ability though often it was difficult for them to make ends meet. As a couple, they often fought and at times these fights could become quite explosive. But the two love each other just as fiercely and the word divorce was a sacrilage in their home. They are honest people yet realistic to the nature of how things really work in the land of the free. They understand the ladders of power and don't question their fellow Irishmen. Many things are simply accepted as "the way things are done." Cameron experiences a very close relationship with his little sister who was often left in his charge. Though he tends to call her a pain in his ass, he'd be lost without her in his world. He's very protective and often times overbearing when it comes to her but it is his intent to see her safe and protected. Cam often indulges her in ways he would never dream of indulging anyone else close to him. She sees a softer side of her brother that doesn't come through in his day to day connections through work. Though Cameron was expected to be in church every Sunday morning, the remainder of his time as a child belonged basically to him. With a father who worked a long and hard day, and often put in extra time after hours, and a mother who more often then not worked the night shift at the diner, Cameron was left to his own devices. For lack of anything better to do, he spent a majority of time on the streets. Cameron found trouble wherever he could and it wasn't long before he had a rap sheet and was threatened with juvie hall. But Cameron also managed to make some very important connections with certain people of the Irish community. He played with their sons or was entrusted with random deliveries. It was these connections that inevitably kept him from lock up. School was something that Cameron detested. It wasn't due to his lack of inteligence. He can't boast any sort of genuis but he's no moron either. Still, school work took too much time and effort and consisted of things he held no interest in. But because he knew it would break his mother's heart if he didn't get his high school diploma, he put forth just enough effort to find himself graduating. However, college was never a part of the master plan. Instead he took a job as a mechanic alongside his father though eventually he would feel drawn in another direction and would find himself working for the O'Mearas. Personality: Cameron is a strange mixture of jokester and badass. One minute he's cracking a joke and the next he's kicking in someone's teeth for looking at him wrong. He keeps people constantly guessing at his mood and what he might do next. But typically, Cam enjoys a rather laid back attitude. He's honest when he can be and cryptic when it's necessary. He's extremely loyal and trustworthy when it comes to getting the job done. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for his family which consists of more than mere blood relation.
